Epoch is a school of artificial intelligence. Twice a year we admit a cohort by a selection exam in coding and mathematics. Pass, and you study for six months, at no cost.

The program
The school exists for people who can already think in code and symbols. We teach the practice of AI: models, math, and the discipline to ship, inside a single, demanding term.

Selection examination
Every seat is earned on the same two papers. There is no application essay that replaces them, and no fee that waives them. Clear both, and Epoch is free.
Write programs that are correct. Data structures, algorithms, and the patience to debug under a clock. Fluency in at least one language is assumed. We are testing whether you can think, not whether you have seen a tutorial.
Linear algebra, probability, and calculus: the machinery behind learning systems. You will not be asked to recite formulas. You will be asked to use them.
The year
The school runs in two full terms. You join the next cohort after you pass. There is no rolling admission in the middle of a term.
Now: Cohort II, July to December 2026
Cohort I
First half of the year. Next open term: January 2027, for those who clear the upcoming exam.
Cohort II
Second half of the year. The current term is in session. The following Cohort II opens July 2027.
How admission works

Tell us which cohort you are aiming for. You sit the exam before the term begins, not after you arrive.

Two papers: coding and mathematics. Same standard for every applicant. No résumé, no interview short-cut.

If you clear the cut-off, you are in. Tuition is waived. The cohort is the school: six months, together.

January to June, or July to December. Full program. No fees. The work is the price of staying.

In person, across our hubs in Pondicherry, Vellore, and Coimbatore. Epoch is not a remote course with a city in the footer. The talent is already here; the AI ecosystem is not yet dense. That gap is why the institute is on the ground.
Yes. There is no tuition for anyone who earns a seat. The selection exam is the gate, not a payment plan.
Coding: writing correct programs, data structures, and algorithmic thinking under time. Mathematics: linear algebra, probability, and calculus at the level you need to read and build models.
Twice a year. Cohort I runs January through June. Cohort II runs July through December. You join the next intake after you pass.
People who already write code and are willing to be examined on math. Epoch is not a beginner bootcamp. It is a school for those who can prove the floor.
You can sit the next exam. Seats are not reserved, deferred, or sold. Each paper is a new attempt.
In person
Pondicherry, Vellore, and Coimbatore have the talent infrastructure of AI hubs, but not yet the AI ecosystems. Epoch is the in-person institute in that gap: exam-gated, six months, no tuition if you pass.
January 2027 cohort
Register your name for the next selection examination. If you pass coding and mathematics, your seat in the January to June cohort is yours, with no tuition.
