Where we build
Our Hubs.
Epoch is an in-person institute. We establish our hubs where the talent already exists, but the AI ecosystem is not yet dense enough to match it. Our chosen hubs are Pondicherry, Vellore, and Coimbatore.
The Strategy
We go where the builders are. Talent is evenly distributed, but opportunity is not.
Why these cities?
We evaluate locations based on student population density, engineering foundation, and the potential to build a self-sustaining ecosystem. Here is why we selected our initial hubs.
01
Pondicherry
Pondicherry offers a unique blend of high-quality educational institutions, a growing tech community, and an unparalleled quality of life. Its proximity to Chennai allows for seamless connectivity while maintaining a focused, distraction-free environment for deep learning and building.
02
Vellore
Vellore already has the talent infrastructure of an AI hub, driven by massive student populations and top engineering institutions like VIT. It has the research talent and raw potential, making it the perfect place to build a dense AI ecosystem.
03
Coimbatore
Coimbatore is an established industrial and educational powerhouse. With its transition from manufacturing to IT, and now to deep tech and AI, it provides a strong foundation of engineering talent and an entrepreneurial culture ready for the AI era.
